Right on the can it says burnt marshmallows. Is this a scent that any sane adult man would want? I can testify that it is in fact redolent of the burnt sugar note in toasted marshmallows. Here\u2019s what I can say it has going for it: If you smell it and no one tells you what it is, it might not immediately come to mind that it\u2019s candy.<\/p>\n
Isolated from any other sweetness, this note is not particularly feminine, but it\u2019s not masculine either. The rest of the scent feels heavy and sweet like icing or frosting. Vanilla, perhaps. Again, feminine but not masculine either. When used lightly, it\u2019s okay if you layer it with something else. It rounds out amber and patchouli scents well.<\/p>\n
LONGEVITY<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s not long lasting at all. 3 to 4 hours before you can barely smell it on skin or clothing. Wear it at work if you work in a hot environment and you have until lunch time, maybe.<\/p>\n EDGY MARKETING<\/strong><\/p>\n I mean it looks like that to an older person who remembers when murder was big news. Who thinks this is cool? Jaded Gen Z kids raised in extreme safety.<\/p>\n Who is this for?<\/p>\n This would seem to be for middle aged men. Do young people get the hockey mask reference on the can? The scent is not what would appeal to anyone over 20, though. Maybe it\u2019s for the kind of jaded, media-addicted Millennial middle aged suburban dad who has never been in danger and can find a serial murder reference mildly amusing and not off-putting at all. It really should only appeal to teenage boys. Maybe the ones who like candy.
