The first wear verified my suspicions. It smelled feminine to me. Too floral and too fruity. I wore it at work, which may have been a part of the problem. I work in a very hot and humid environment. It did not hold up well and it could also been that I applied too little of it and it got washed away by the sweat. I think this is probably more of a social kind of fragrance and not one for a professional setting.<\/p>\n
I detect sweet floral, woodsy and citrus notes against a subtle-but-very-present background of patchouli. Fragrantica lists a host of notes for this fragrance that may all be present but are completely lost in the mix to my nose.<\/p>\n
On the second wear, I actually liked it a bit more. I have not yet experienced Davidoff\u2019s Zino but I feel that it may smell something like this. An especially sweet chypre. Did it hold up better than on the first wear? Not really, but I applied more so it held on longer though it was still faint by the end of the day.<\/p>\n
I would not say that this is for a younger person, but for someone in their 30s and older, this is pretty good. Perfect if you work indoors. While it would not be inappropriate in the winter, I think this is definitely a cologne that should be worn only indoors and not in the heat.<\/p>\n
