One of the top five old guy scents at least. At one point I had a plan to get all of them. I have no idea what I was thinking. There is no reason to that, I have too many colognes already. Classic Match Green is easily the cheapest cologne I have tried for this blog and the one for which I have received the most compliments.<\/p>\n<p>What I Smell<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pine\/Oak moss<\/li>\n<li>Patchouli<\/li>\n<li>Citrus<\/li>\n<li>Soap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In that order too. It\u2019s not subtle. Nothing about this fragrance is subtle. The person who would wear this (or Polo Green, I suspect) does not respect the concept of \u201csubtle.\u201d It\u2019s a mule kick to the head, a problematic statement across the Thanksgiving dinner table, an invitation to step outside.<\/p>\n<p>I would also say that this is the better version of what <a href=\"https:\/\/my3scents.blog\/blog\/lomani-pour-homme-review\/\">Lomani Pour Homme<\/a> was attempting.<\/p>\n<p>This is the smell of a Third World night on the town. Mix this in with tobacco smoke and rum and much of the western world will agree that you might have the most masculine scent cocktail in the world.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t just a working man\u2019s fragrance, this is an <em>agricultural worker\u2019s<\/em> cologne. You hit the local Walmart and throw a few in the luggage to head home until next season. It may sound snobbish to say that but let me make a case. Agricultural workers in the US typically come from tropical countries and nothing in Classic Match Green is in any way tropical. The oak moss that you get in a chypre cologne, the pine are characteristically northern hemisphere elements. These are exotic scents if you are from the hotter Americas.<\/p>\n<p>Who this is Perfect For<\/p>\n<p>You work in a hot humid country, there is nothing you prize more than a shower at the end of the day. You prize the clean smell after living in your own sweaty stew all day and this cologne will give you that. The pine-y soapy element is what we have come to associate with cleanness and barbershops. This cologne has give you that intensely because it is strong. Intensely so. Spray it on in the morning and it will probably still be there on the next day. One spray in front of the fan, back and front. Classic Match Green is so concentrated that I think there is powerful potential to go overboard. Don\u2019t treat this like other colognes. You could wind up being a problem for people around you. That intensity allows it to overcome almost anything, including sweat booze breath and cigarette smoke.<\/p>\n<p>In spite of the old guy-ness can see this working on a younger person. Used in moderation, it might get positive attention in the work place. If you are an old guy, this is what people expect you to wear. You get to fall into predictable behavior.
