I think no product is quite as capable of inducing buyer’s remorse as a fragrance. On the surface, cologne and perfume purchases can feel like impulse purchases or luxuries. They might even be the most luxurious of all luxury purchases, literally the opposite of necessities. On the other hand, nothing can turn the opinions of a room against someone as quickly or as solidly as the wrong body odor. I don’t just mean bad, I mean wrong. Too much cologne, bad cologne or food smells can be as offensive and arguably grosser than regular body odor. Armpit sweat at least has an obvious explanation. The point is, people have been using perfumes for much of human history for some pretty good reasons. This website finds a compromise between the conspicuous consumption of fragrance purchases and being shamelessly frugal. I aim to review and discuss a range of low-cost eau de toilettes and eau de parfums.
